Acoustic Spot – Turn up and play

Calling all singers, dancers, comedians, jugglers, magicians and performers…

A bit like a busking spot the Acoustic Spot allows musicians, dancers and other entertainers to just turn up and play to the crowd. So if you didn’t make the main stage but still want to perform the Acoustic Spot is the place for you.

But please be fair and keep your set to a maximum of 25 minutes to ensure as many people as possible get a chance to perform.

This summer the Jam Theatre are offering a pop school workshop, so why don’t you ‘pop in’ to the taster at Live at Riley and come and sing some pop tunes with a mic on our little stage!  Open from 1pm-4pm

JAM THEATRE

Jam Theatre is in it’s 7th year. We produce professional shows, write and create our own, give workshops & master classes, offer weekly training in dance, singing, acting, musical theatre and technical theatre; we work in every area of the creative & media arts professionally and we also have a sixth form academy for those wanting a career in performing and production arts.

Originally in residence at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School, we now have our own premises and studios in West Street, Marlow.

Regular training classes are available from top industry professionals from age 7 – Adult. We currently have over 300 students a week and absolutely love what we do! As one of our recent guest west end choreographers said, “Jam is West End quality without having to go to London!”

See some of our fabulous teenagers perform at 12:10 on the main stage a selection of songs from our upcoming show ‘CAMP ROCK’!

Have a look at our website for the huge array of classes and shows we offer!

Come and speak to us in the JAM THEATRE tent at Live Riley.
